Will you help make our Trunk or Treat "sweet" by donating candy? You can send donations to school with your child or drop them off at the front office. Mrs. Kendrick has started off the donation, isn't she a "LIFESAVER"?!

If you are going to the Fall Festival at the Goose Creek Municipal Center today, please swing by the GCE scarecrow display and vote for us! Our beautiful display was done by our very own Michelle Johnson, secretary extraordinaire!

More pictures from our Hispanic Heritage month celebration!

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Goose Creek Elementary hosted a top-notch Hispanic Heritage Night with traditional dancers, assorted games, and arts and crafts.
Last Friday's Hispanic Heritage month parade was outstanding! We had a record-breaking number of students who participated! Our students were so proud to march through the hallways displaying their works of art!

Learning is MESSY! Mrs. Borders' science experiment exploded today, leaving her (and her floor) a beautiful shade of blue! We are now accepting Pine-sol donations! At GCE, we build brilliant, blue, brains!

Look at these little hands working big magic! Ms. Stepp's kindergarten class made numbers using PlayDoh, turning learning into a fun and colorful adventure. Hands-on play like this helps build strong number sense and fine motor skills - all while sparking creativity and smiles!

GCE has had a wonderful week celebrating Hispanic Heritage month! We hope to see everyone tonight for our 4th annual Hispanic Heritage month celebration!

Don't forget to complete ONE activity from our Hispanic Heritage Choiceboard! Students who participate will get to share their artwork with the entire school next Friday! The due date was tomorrow, but we are extending the due date till Monday. Check out two of our artists, who have already completed their project!

Goose Creek Elementary LOVES Officer Bodison!

Exciting news at Goose Creek Elementary- we're getting brand new playgrounds! Our students are loving watching the construction crew spread fresh mulch and bring the playgrounds to life. A big thank you to Berkeley County School District for making this possible!

Mr. Jim (aka: the World's BEST Cafeteria Manager) gave a Taste and Tour to Mrs. Dojan's 1st grade class. Students learned how food is cooked, how dishes are cleaned, and how cold the freezer is! He ended this exciting tour with a tasting of watermelon and honeydew! Learning happens everywhere at Goose Creek Elementary!

We don't like to brag, but GCE students are the cutest!

Congratulations to Mrs. Orth and Mr. Harry for being selected as the GCE employees of the month! They were nominated by their peers for helping GCE blossom! Thank you to our amazing PTO and Texas Roadhouse for your support!

GCE staff and students were supporting the Gators by wearing black and gold last week too!

The Goose Creek high school baseball team hit a GRAND SLAM with our students last Thursday! We were so excitied to have these amazing young men welcome our students to school!
