Coach Katrina Bezdek has been the varsity softball coach at Hanahan High School for 15 years. She has led the program to win 10 Region Championships, 7 District Championships, and back-to-back State Championships in 2017 and 2018. She has been named Region Coach of the Year numerous times and was named Low Country Coach of the Year three times.
Coach Bezdek graduated from The University of Akron, where she played softball and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education, with an emphasis in mathematics. She also holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The Citadel. Coach Bezdek has been honored to coach many amazing young ladies who have gone on to play college softball.
