Marrington Elementary is one of two BCSD school located on the base of the Naval Weapons Station, Joint Base Charleston. It is recognized as one of the Palmetto State's Purple Star Schools as having a significant commitment to support military families and students of servicemen and women. Leadership and character development are priorities at MNE and the school integrates lessons with a house system created by the Ron Clark Academy.
