Attention Parents and Guardians of Returning Students for the 24-25 School Year:
Returning student registration opens May 1st at 10am. Parents and guardians of ALL returning students need to complete an online student update and provide TWO proofs of residency. This can be done through the Power School Parent Portal ONLY! You will need your parent portal username and password to complete this process. This required process allows you to enter accurate parent/emergency contact information, upload the required two proofs of residency, complete required annual forms/policies, and provide transportation information for each student enrolled in the district. This process is separate from the MNE Google Intent Form that was previously completed. All returning students who have this process completed by Friday, May 24th will be entered into a drawing for MNE to pay for your school supplies for the 24-25 school year!

As a way of continuing to promote child nutrition and adding to the many celebrations capping the end of the school year, Berkeley County School District’s Office of Child Nutrition Services will launch a special giveaway next week (May 20–24) that will offer some big prizes.
Elementary, middle and high school students eating lunch and/or breakfast next week will be entered into a drawing for prizes that include, but are not limited to:
*iPads
*Wireless earbuds/headphones
*Underwater cameras
*Projectors
*Action cameras
*Bluetooth speakers
Students will receive one entry into the drawing for each meal they eat. Winners will be drawn at random, and those who eat multiple meals will obviously have an increased chance of winning.

Attention MNE Parents and Guardians,
As we begin to wind down the 23-24 school year, please keep in mind that attendance still counts. The last day of school for student is Thursday, May 30th. This is a 10:50 dismissal day for students. Students are still required to take their iReady assessments, as well as other important end of year assessments. Many fun activities are also planned for these last few weeks of school. Please refrain from planning any family vacations that will keep your student from attending school until after May 30th. Thanks so much for your continued support.
