Berkeley High School’s Jenna Kate Hoffman has been selected to represent the Lower State in the upcoming 2025 North/South Golf Match, scheduled for November 1–2. Hoffman was nominated by Coach Jeremy Colley, marking a significant achievement for the Lady Stags golf program. This will be only the second time in program history that a Lady Stag has competed in this prestigious event.
The South Team claimed victory in last year’s match and will look to defend its championship title against the North Team in this year’s competition.
In addition to Hoffman’s individual honor, the Lady Stag Golf Team has advanced to the 2025 5A Division II State Championship, to be held October 27–28 at Hackler Golf Course. Twenty-four teams from across South Carolina will compete for the state title.
Coach Colley praised his team’s hard work and consistency throughout the season, expressing confidence that the Lady Stags are ready to compete among the state’s best. “It’s been a great season,” Colley said. “We’re looking forward to finishing strong at the State Tournament.”
